Famous doctor now working with Larz Thielemann

One of the few doctors in the world that has a thorough understanding of both conventional and complementary medicine as it applies to neurological training and stimulation offers her help and cooperation.

Coralee Thompson M.D. achieved her medical degree through the University of Washington School of Medicine and her family medicine specialty through the Medical College of Virginia, Fairfax Family Medicine. After doing a home based neurological training and stimulation program for her own son, she began working at The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP), commonly known as the "Doman-Institute." As their medical director for many years, she worked to improve brain-injured children’s physiological health through nutrition and other natural medical principles. During this time, she received awards from the International Academy of Child Brain Development and maintained her board certification with the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Larz Thielemann first met Coralee in 1999 when he together with his wife Eva visited IAHP on the search to help their profoundly brain-injured daughter, Sofie. Throughout the years, Coralee remained part of Sofie’s team. But more than that, Sofie always held a special place in Coralee’s heart, which she describes so fervently in her book "Healthy Brains, Healthy Children".

In recent years, Coralee collaborates with world-renowned physician and author Philip Maffetone about finding new ways to help children and adults with neurological and physiological problems.

The book "Sofie's new world", Larz Thielemann describe Coralee as "the world's best doctor" because she is one of a few physicians who effectively combine the natural and scientific approach to disease. She works with the understanding that the body’s natural mechanism is to heal when it gets what it needs, but is not fanatically opposed to medication and traditional methods when nature needs a bit of help. Larz Thielemann was therefore very happy and grateful when this e-mail came in:
– Dear Larz. I'm so glad you're helping so many children. I would be willing to help you with difficult cases. Let me know if you want me to work with you.
